Philippine President, Rodrigo Duterte has informed security forces thay they should shoot anyone causing “trouble” in areas locked down due to the CONVIF-19 virus pandemic.
The Asian Country has so far detected 2,312 cases and reported 97 deaths forcing it into a two-week lock down which has resulted in poor families and workers complaint of not having food to eat.
The authoritarian leader has now given ordered to his military to kill anyone who disobeys government lock down rules, hours after some people from a slum community were arrested for holding a protest during the closure
President Duterte said:-
My orders are to the police and military, also village officials, that if there is trouble or the situation arises that people fight and your lives are on the line, shoot them dead, instead of causing trouble, I’ll send you to the grave.
The citizens are therefore warned to Maintain lock down order in order to avoid unnecessary death as the Coronavirus pandemic continues.
